Internships

UTA's Internship Program offers a select group of undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to work at one of the world's leading entertainment talent and literary agencies.

During the 10-week summer program, interns are exposed to a wide variety of business practices in the field of entertainment and also receive formal instruction on the fundamentals of the talent agency business.

Students who are actively enrolled in a four-year undergraduate bachelor degree program or graduate degree program (M.A., J.D., M.B.A., etc.) at an accredited college or university are eligible to apply to the program. Students must have completed at least their sophomore year course work and have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0. There is no restriction on what declared major, degree program or course of study applicants must pursue.

Interns work in the UTA mailroom and also attend two-hour daily classes in UTA University, the in-house education program that is also attended by trainees in the UTA Agent Training Program.

The application period for the Summer Session is January 1 through March 15 of each year. The 10-week Summer Sessions begin in early June. There are also occasional Fall and Spring sessions for local college students. Please indicate in your application if you are interested in a Spring or Fall session as these may sometimes be available.

All Internship applications must include: a cover letter requesting consideration for the program which describes their career interests in the entertainment industry and/or the talent and literary representation business; a resume with all relevant education, work experience, special skills and interests; and at least two letters of recommendation.

Applicants will be informed of their application status no later than April 1.

Please email all applications to UTAInternship@unitedtalent.com. Please indicate "Internship Program Application" in the subject line, and please make sure to include email, phone and mailing address contact information. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your application.
