Dewan first captured audience attention in the hit Disney film Step Up opposite Channing Tatum, where her talent and appeal lit up the big screen. In 2011, she starred in Jamie Linden’s directorial debut10 Years, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival that year, and featured an all-star cast that included Channing Tatum, Kate Mara, Oscar Isaac, and Chris Pratt.

She has also successfully conquered the small screen, starring in Lifetime’s Witches of East End opposite Julia Ormond, and previously in Ryan Murphy’s critically acclaimed drama American Horror Story: Asylum opposite Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, and Adam Levine. Dewan displayed keen comedic chops on Fox’s The Mindy Project as a gorgeous pharmaceutical rep. Recently seen on the CBS series Supergirl, Dewan portrays “Lucy Lane,” Lois Lane’s strong, smart, and successful younger sister. She recently concluded a memorable two-season-span on Fox’s medical drama The Resident as a recurring guest star. Dewan was the centerpiece in one of the feature film Berlin, I Love You’s vignettes, which also starred Keira Knightley, Helen Mirren, Jim Sturgess, and Diego Luna.

A former host and mentor on NBC’s World of Dance, Dewan has been a brand ambassador for Danskin since 2018 and was a frequent guest host on Kelly & Michael.

Dewan will appear in Netflix musical drama series Mixtape for 20th/Annapurna and Smash showrunner Josh Safran.
